Getting receipts and tax invoices

A tax invoice is provided for every payment and is always available in the member portal, which is what you need to claim a private health fund rebate.

Last reviewed 8 August 2026

You receive a tax invoice for every payment you make to Norwest Wellbeing, and all of your invoices are available any time in the member portal at members.norwestwellbeing.com.au under Invoices. This is the document you need to claim a rebate from your private health fund.

Finding your invoices in the portal

Sign in to the member portal with your email address. We send a 6-digit sign-in code, so there is no password to remember. Once signed in, open the Invoices section (/invoices) to view or download any invoice. If you have trouble signing in, see Trouble signing in.

Using invoices for health fund claims

Norwest Wellbeing does not have HICAPS in the clinic. You pay in full, receive a tax invoice, and claim with your fund yourself. Invoices show the practitioner's AHA (Australian Hypnotherapists Association) association number, which most funds use to verify the practitioner. It is also available on request. Whether you can claim depends on your fund, your policy level and the practitioner; check the directory at /health-funds and see How to claim a rebate.

Note that Medicare and GP Mental Health Care Plans do not cover clinical hypnotherapy, so invoices cannot be used for Medicare claims.

Common questions

Q: Does the invoice include everything my health fund needs? A: Invoices are tax invoices and show the practitioner's AHA association number, which funds use to verify recognition. If your fund asks for anything further, contact us.
