- Privacy and your recordsYour records are kept for 7 years on Australian servers, never sold, and handled under the Privacy Act 1988. Access requests are answered within 30 days.
- Informed consentBefore therapy begins you agree to a client service agreement. You set the goals, no outcomes are guaranteed, and your active participation between sessions matters.
- Confidentiality and its limitsEverything you share in therapy is confidential, with four legal limits. De-identified supervision, risk of harm, child or elder abuse reporting, and court orders.
- Session recording consentYou consent to therapeutic recordings via your intake form, can stop recording at any time during a session, and can withdraw consent for future recordings.
- Complaints and feedbackRaise complaints with Privacy Officer Paul Smith (acknowledged within 7 days, investigated within 30) with external options including the OAIC and the HCCC.
- Practitioner qualificationsPaul Smith and Rebecca Smith are qualified clinical hypnotherapists and members of the Australian Hypnotherapists Association and the Hypnotherapy Council of Australia.
- SMS and email communicationsWe send SMS reminders and confirmations for your appointments. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, and your number is never sold.
